Communication is a key component of establishing information technology strategies so the advent of information technologies based on computers has enabled business models and processes to understand that they may function as subsets of information technology, for Bakhtar University information technology is most present in their concern so In functional area of the whole system in university is computerized, the administration of the system takes place alongside with IT department, we take a proactive and collaborative approach to deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable technologies that optimize satisfaction and desired outcomes, the entire university IT department is responsible for implementing, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting all technological equipment in university such as online portal, CANVAS “E-learning System” campus data network, wireless/wired connections, local telephone network, computer systems, computer labs, E-doors, servers, Biometric Attendance system of employees, CCTV cameras and service desk functions.

IT services provide support to the entire University in all functional areas:

• End-User Training and Support
• Communications and Networking
• Systems Administration and Operation

In support of our mission, the intention of IT is to support the operations of Bakhtar University in the following ways:

• Enhance the existing technology infrastructure
• User training and consulting on telephone services and features
• Explore and encourage the creative and innovative use of technology
• Data networking for access to the campus data network and the internet, include authenticated wireless access for laptops and other mobile devices
• Deliver services and solutions that enable a quality user experience
• Increase effectiveness and efficiency through the use of technology
• Enhance technology support and accessibility for all users of our technology resources
